Houses zoned to Bellaire High School - is this a normal market?
We have been looking at homes zoned to Bellaire High School in Houston, TX. To "learn the market," we went to 10 open houses since early-to-mid February. Of those, only 1/10 has gone under contract and was finally sold. The other 9 are still on the market (90% on market > 1 month, sometimes >> 1 month).
I do realize that this area was hit hard by flooding. However, it seems that 90% of homes going unsold is a little high, even for February/March? Also, most of the homes we saw did not flood. Are we missing something?
