As some of you may have figured out from my other posts, I am highly against the "cultist" and "guru" mentality out there....

So, this thread is dedicated to those who don't wish to follow the "sheeple" route and want to share some books that they feel is "good and SOLID" advice.

I recommend:

"The Millionaire Next Door" by Stanley and Danko - Good statistical analysis of what, where, and how millionaires live.

"The Total Money Makeover" by Dave Ramsey - Shows how living below your means can mean more money in your pocket.

"The Wealthy Barber" by Chilton - Parable styled story about how living below your means and investing wisely can result in great fortune.

"The Richest Man in Babylon" by Clason - Another parable styled story that gives guidelines on how to manage personal finance.

I haven't read anything by Suze Orman, but from what I understand, she offers some good advice too.
