Becoming a Realtor

I am looking for some good feedback. I just recently got involved in real estate investing. I have had some early success. I want to continue to learn and grow as an investor hoping to transition to become a real estate developer.
My question really is how valuable is getting a real estate license as I develop my skills and knowledge of investing/building partnerships/building a business and brand?!
