Curious to hear what other people's experience's with virtual assistants are? Particularly those who are already trained in real estate services. I'm newer to real estate but would like to leverage as much as I can so I can to focus on the important stuff. Any feedback is appreciated! Keep crushing it!

It's hit and miss. Mostly miss, but when you find a hit, they're worth SO MUCH.
No matter the task, I've found that the key is to make a system. Make it as step-by-step as possible. The less color-by-numbers your task is, then the more you're going to pay per hour.
If you need someone to write copy, then start with native English speakers. If you need a bunch of form emails sent, then hire someone who can read and communicate by text.
For example, one of my VAs sends form emails to me. He has to find names & email addresses, lightly customize an email template, send the emails, and document what he's done. He charges $4 an hour and he has saved me days and days of my time.
But, until I'd understood exactly what I wanted him to do and turned it into a step-by-step task, we weren't hitting the results I wanted.
I have another VA who has more specialized skills, but she charges more per hour.
Use Screencast-O-Matic (free) to record yourself doing your task on your desktop, then send them the recording. This helps a lot.
