Holding Rent
My tenant is refusing to pay rent because of a heat issue. Her rent was due on the 6th which is the same day I was informed of the heat issue. She has heat upstairs but the downstairs temperature will only go to 68 degrees. I had someone come yesterday for a repair and she claims that it still isnt hot enough. Do you aall have any advice? I really wish I can break the lease..which isn't up until July.
BY the way..I did file for an eviction..but I am sure she will use the heat issue against me.
