23 year old applicant w 0 credit score
I have a 23 yo tenant applying for one of my SFR and he has a 0 credit score, with no credit history at all. He is recently out of college and has relocated for a position as an engineer with a large orthopedic company.
He says his parents paid for his college and his car. Thus no credit history.
His application says his salary is 60k/yr, so he's around 6x's rent/income
I commonly rent to relocating employees, they start off with 12-18 month contracts. These company screen employees well and I always have good luck with their recruits.
Im meeting with him tonight and he is going to bring a couple pay stubs to prove income. I guess will make my decision on character.
Wondering how others deal with this.
