DONT RENT FROM MURRY!

My partner drives past this today on his way to one of our houses.

Got a kick out of it. Thought I'd share.

Thoughts? Opinions? Similar stories?

lol That's funny. Is the sign for the house behind it though?...because it looks nice to me and not something I'd imagine a slumlord to have.

Not really sure. But I assume "Murry" lives next door and this is his rental property.

The house in the pic appears to be in good shape at least from the exterior. The tenant could be sued for defamation of character and slander.

Now even if the landlord wins if the tenant is low income there might not be anything to collect.

The sign has an arrow pointing to the house next door.  Protected speech, if not in violation of a local sign ordinance (and possibly even then.)

Truth is an absolute and affirmative defense to slander.

That Murry!  He is a real SOB!

perhaps I should knock on Murry's door & see if he wants to sell.

maybe I can score a deal from a landlord who is tired of the grind.

Good idea! Be careful, the tenants might not like you either and go after you!

lol. At least I wouldn't  be their neighbor so they'd have a tough time figuring out were to point the arrow.
