Does anyone have a suggestion on how to word a 60-day out clause that could be attached to a residential lease agreement which would allow me to sell a property while it's being rented? I will be offering the tenants of said property a 6 month lease, but would like the option to sever that agreement if the property should sell during that duration. I am looking for something that would protect myself while clearly spelling out expectations to potential renters. Thanks in advance for any help in regards to this!
There's nothing that fits that specifically that I know of. I would just set a short term lease (3 month, renewable to m/m) and just proceed. If you find a buyer, you will need to give notice prior to any inspections/walk-thru's so just move forward.
