In a pickle
I currently rent a condo from a friend who needed help. We have been here almost a year when she comes to me after I just paid the rent for March that the condo is going up in a trustee sale at the end of April. Apparently she defaulted and told us not to pay her and save your money to move.
Then a week before the the trustee sale she lets me know that they found a buyer and that the house is in escrow, so I took it upon myseld to call the number on the letter regarding the trustee sale and they to let me know thats the trust sale was put on hold. Then I get a call this week letting me know that escrow feel threw that she wasn't able to sell it and she wants us to pay rent can she do that? I don't no what else to do?
