Vacant mobile home should I rent it?
Hi experts,
We have vacant mobile home on 2 acres in desirable area, but it needs some work. Probably 8-12k worth. Property is in great area of NE Florida. Exterior is stucco finish and has front and back decks.
Probably will rent for 1k per month if not a little more.
It has been vacant for 5+ years so realistically I'm thinking 12k will get it up and running.
The property is owned outright and not doing anything but accumulating taxes. What is everyone's thoughts on what we should do. On a fixed income currently and have the cash to do renovations, but worried about dipping too far into savings for something that is just going to keep needing money.
