1 story vs. 2 story SFR - opinions?

Does anyone have any opinions (preferably backed by experience) on whether 2 story SFR rentals are "as good/better/worse" than 1 story SFR rentals?

i know these are very general, but i was thinking that maybe renting out 2 story homes might limit the tenant pool that gets attracted to it.  i.e. elderly, disabled, young children, etc.  im not really talking about financials here, more just practicality.

Any thoughts?

I own one two story SFR. The rest are single story. I haven't had it long enough to determine if there is a noticeable difference in the amount of potential tenants. If your market has a lot of two story homes I would think that is an indication that they are readily accepted.

Same thoughts here for me as @John Thedford . Just about everything we have is SFH ranch homes, but that is the dominant house style here. What I have that is 2 story hasn't had any trouble renting, but the neighborhood is good, the house is nice, etc and I suspect that's a bigger factor.

Thanks for the tips, there are a lot of 2 story so they aren't really an anomaly here.  I suppose there will always be someone willing to live there at some point or another.
