I just bight a small townhouse as my first venture into being a landlord. I have read a lot of useful tips from BP. Thank you everyone!
I am now looking for a standard lease contract. Any suggestion where I should find one?
I live in Pennsylvania.

If you want something really basic you can visit your local Office Depot store and they carry lease agreements. Additionally, you can also get something online using websites that allow you to enter information specific to your property and then based on your state they draw up a lease agreement. You pay at checkout for the online agreement and its pretty simple. Finally, you can also have a real estate agent or attorney draw up an agreement for you.

If this is your first time, get help from an attorney, unless you are absolutely well-informed about local laws regarding tenancy. Or at least seek help from a local real estate agent who has done several leases before. Your local agent may have promulgated forms created by attorneys licensed in your state that he/she may be able to fill out for you.

Ask your realtor for a copy of the state/commonwealth version

Hi Michael,
There are online resources with lease agreements that have state-specific lease agreements. There may be lots of laws that pertain to your area specifically, so if this is your first time with a lease agreement, it may be worth it to visit an attorney.
Good luck!
