I live in New York and I'm buying a SFH Rental in St. Petersburg

I live in New York and I'm buying a rental SFH in Florida. I want to form a Single Member LLC. From what I've read, I think I have to live in Florida to form an LLC in that state. The Registered Agent (assuming I need one) will have to be me and I would need a Florida address.

Can anyone shed some light?
