Landlord not signing the lease (US CA)

I just signed the lease agreement (via docusign) with the move in date in the end of this month. I then asked for a copy with landlords signature for my records. He responded that normally he doesn’t sign it. I called him and he said he could do it but he never does because anyway once he gives me the keys in exchange for the deposit and first month rent, it means he agreed to it. It’s just so confusing to me. Is he lazy (he’s a property manager, he doesn’t own it) or up to something? Should I be concerned? It’s in San Francisco.

Also the lease says I’m responsible for making sure gas is connected and paid but there is no gas in my unit and he confirmed this via email. Should I ask to remove this clause and resign the lease or am I being too OCD?

The original lease agreement had a few things wrong such as tenancy start year and my birthdate. It really seems he just copied some old one and didn’t doublecheck the details.
