I live in California and need help with a lease option. I will have a lease option, purchase agreement, and standard lease. The lease option is for 2 years.

My question is: can I execute this lease option in month 7-8. I worry about the Fannie Freddie guidelines. Do they require you to go at least 12 months? Thank you. Hope you can help.

@Chad Roelofs   You are the tenant/buyer in this deal?  Unless there is something in the option to purchase agreement stating otherwise, you can exercise that option at any time during the option period.
