Is anyone currently serving in the military active duty and a real estate agent?

@Angela Winbush I've considered getting my license as I get closer towards retirement. Seems like a good transition option. I've been buying and selling houses for a long time, so seems like a good option for me. I know quite a few others that have done something similar. I think the biggest challenge is just finding the time to fit it all in!! How is it going for you?

@Justin Tahilramani how do you balance out the time? Do you have to be in the brokerage office?

@Stuart Grazier is going good so far! Just waiting to pick the right brokerage to hang my license.

No - you will just need to he honest with your broker and let them know what you can and can't do. I use it mostly for writing offers on personal investments, but you can certianly do as much or as little as you can given your work schedule.

@Angela Winbush @Justin Tahilramani Following up on this thread: what platform did you use to get your license? Did you do all of your training online? And how did you choose your brokerage to hang your license with?
I was recently told about a brokerage that will allow you to do all of the initial required education for free through their training platform, but you then have to hang your license with that brokerage. I don't see a reason why I wouldn't do it, but just wondering if there were any deal breakers when determining which brokerage to use.
