Wood deck vs Composite deck

Hello BP community!

I'm in the process of rehabbing a house in Kingston, PA, which has a beaten down wooden deck that requires replacing (top cover + railings).

I am seeking advice on weather to replace it with pressure treated wood (cheaper) or composite (lower maintenance). I will also be looking to install it myself, as the quotes i've got so far are way out of my budget.

Is the higher cost composite worth the money? Is it tenant friendly?

(i will be turning the property into a long term rental)

Thanks a lot !
