Underpinning a building
Hi Everyone,
I'm looking at a deal at the moment. ARV around 200K. Asking is 130k and there is an offer for 85k on it now. I was informed that there is some issues, some cosmetic, some major.
- Foundation needs to be underpinned. I'm familiar with the concept in theory, but nothing else. Is it something I can DIY or need a contractor to do it? In the ball park price for it? (I know, I know how long is a piece of string...)
- There is a flat roof on it and needs some attention. I'd get a roofer to fix that.
- Also full gut job from internally. I recon around 35-40k for this part.
Can anyone please advice on the foundation part? Thanks a lot.
