I need help with a rehab rental.

I'm rehabbing three units, (two 700 sqft studios and one  1050 sqft 1 bedroom) and I was wondering if I should use tile or laminate flooring. Per sqft laminate is less expansive and I can get a nice "look" with the laminate but is it durable enough for a rental?  Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Vinyl plank is a great way to go.  It is much more cost effective than tile, lasts just about as long, and it is easy to replace one plank if one gets damaged.   It has a nice feel and look to it.  There are many thicknesses and colors.
