I recently closed on an 18 unit property in the midwest, SE Minnesota. i going to replace flooring in each unit, and wanted to get some feedback on what LVT plank flooring others have found to be the best value. Cheapest isn't always the least expensive in the long run in my opinion. so if anyone has recommendation on a brand, style i would love to hear about it as well as where you sourced it, what it cost for material and what, if you paid for installation. As a general contractor, in the NW though, i will be heading back to install some if it myself in the test/model unit so install price isn't a big concern at this time. thanks for for feedback!
I'm about to install Lifeproof LVP from Home Depot. It is $2.79 a sq ft but seems to be very durable and has a lifetime warranty. It comes with an attached underlay as well.
I agree that cheapest is only cheap at the moment, but may cost more in the long run. I'd rather lay one floor for many years use than one floor then replace every few years. I can't comment on installation price since I install myself.
I used Mohawk Home expressions from menards. 24-25.00 per bundle covering 15 square feet. ( not sure exactly as I bought back in may). Get their store card and save 2% on all purchases. I waited until they had 11% off also and saved even more. Considering how much you will be doing you can save a ton with the rebates.
