Investment Info:
Small multi-family (2-4 units) buy & hold investment in West Allis.
Purchase price: $140,000
Cash invested: $45,000
I currently live in one of the units in this duplex. My mortgage is $975/mo and the tenant in the other unit is paying $700. There is room to improve rent with minor updates to the unit. The tenant came with the property and so far has been good for the most part. There's been a few minor things, but overall, hasn't been to bad.

Thanks! It's a lot better than my previous place. I owned a condo and the mortgage with HOA dues on top of that came out to about $1,300/month. Then, you add food and utilities, etc. I was spending a fortune! Having this duplex for the past 8 months has allowed me to save up enough money to quit my full time sales job and dive into real estate head first.
