@Samara Huntley I am starting out as a new investor from Holly Springs, NC. My goals this year is to get at least 2 rental properties with a decent cash flow (10-12% cash on cash return) Are there any specific zip codes in Gastonia or Charlottes suburbs that I should be looking at for hot deals? I am looking at properties under 200K. Thanks in advance.

@Christina Johnson I will check out Galveston. I was wondering about that area for investing.

Have you looked at new builds in NC or FL that offer cash flow, appreciation & equity?

@Samara Huntley what are the property taxes like in Gastonia for investment properties?

I agree. I have had great luck in Maryland. Cecil county has been my go to lately with great positive cash flow. There is a huge need for more rental with warehouses like amazon, military bases and good schools.

@Bruce Lynn I live in Austin and sometimes go to my office in New Braunfels (20 minutes N or SA)...that’s a rough commute because of the traffic.

@Nicole W. Hi Nicole, great points for taxes and insurance. I live in O.C and kept thinking of AZ for investing. Which areas in AZ do you recommend? Thank you.

Guam USA. I may sound biased but I laugh at the ROI/ROA/Caps stateside. The sec 8 program amounts are so high here, and prices lowwww.

Work with good re Property management/broker company in areas you focus.. they know the market and the numbers best. Ask local title companies who are the top dogs.
