Rockville, MD real estate attorney and required documents

Sien Vernyns

Hello fellow BP member,

I am both excited and terrified purchasing my first rental property in Rockville, MD today. Can someone kindly provide a recommendation for a local real estate attorney?

Also, where can I find information on what forms and disclosures I need to present to my tenants for properties that fall in the City of Rockville? Other than:

  • the lease agreement
  • written receipt of the deposit
  • a copy of the DHCA’s Landlord Tenant Handbook
  • the condition report

are there any needed forms or locally required disclosures (e.g. lead, radon, etc) at move-in?

I very much appreciate your input.

All the best,

Sien
