Hello BP, I have just obtained a list of 650 homes in my city with current code violations. I am planning on starting a direct mail campaign to them and I was wondering if anyone has an example of a letter or postcard that would be good to send to this list? Has anyone had any success working with this type of list? Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Why not send your standard letter? I don't see the need to custom tailor it for this situation.
Thats a good point, thanks Bryan..

I just received a lead from an out-of-state absentee owner whom I sent a letter to. She has $9000 in fines from code violations, said she doesn't care if she makes any money, she just wants out of the situation.
It was just your basic yellow letter, "Hi, my name is Sonny. I'd like to buy your house at 345 Broad St. Please call!"
I use the same letter for absentee owners too, no custom message. If someone is truly motivated, that's all you really need.
