What are some ways to promote my website without paying for Google AdWords?

Hey friends,

We just finished a new website to target sellers a private money in New York City area.

http://www.negevp.com/

Our budget goes to direct mail and we don't have more to invest at this point for online marketing. Do you guys have suggestions/directions where to start?

Thanks!

Use Google My Business to get your business added to the MAP and indexed properly in the search engine -this FREE:

Google loves everything THEY own and they promote sites that use their services, so consider posting YOUTUBE VIDEOS about your business and put your URL in the description of those videos...

Some other ideas...

Submit your business info to all the online Yellow Pages.

Create Facebook and Twitter accounts that link back to the site.  This will give you SEO power...

Create as many incoming links as you can - Google love links for SEO ranking.

Sorry the system burped and made multiple posts....

Here's a cool quote, since I am forced to keep this unwanted post:

@Dev Horn You are a boss! Great ideas, well said... the quote is more then that, it's the way you think about others as well as yourself.

Have a wonderful thanksgiving

Rich

@Dev Horn  and @Jerred Morris  , thanks for the ideas!  I don't even have a website or a remote goal in life but I'm loving the information!  Followed a few rabbit holes from your original link, @Jerred Morris and am initially loving these two articles:

Specifically love the idea of using a hoax to generate traffic as in the Ivar's Billboard Hoax example.  Something slightly absurd so as not to be deceiving but still generate interest.

I also love the idea of promoting or planning an event in your target area.  Is there possibly a better way to reach your target audience than to lure them out of their homes and meet them in person?  I think this gives your business a much needed human element that is often lost in mere postcards and website advertisements.
