How do you all address yellow letters to occupants who have died? Do you address to the family of or simply to the occupant?
Thanks in advance.
I'd address it to the deceased owner, but since it's a yellow letter, I wouldn't mention his/her passing anywhere in the letter
If you do decide to mail the heirs, I'd send a professional typed letter rather than the standard yellow letter.
That was my choice as well (to simply address the letter to the owner and not mention anything about the passing). Hope it was the right thing!
