Go to the San diego real estate club meeting led by my good friend Bill Tan at the Scottish Rites Center.  Also, check out a FIBI ( for investors by investors) is a good start.  Find them on Meet-up.com

Thank You

 Hello,

I am in the military and will be stationed here for the next 3-4 years. I noticed how exspensive San Diego is, but instead of renting I wanted to buy and own for the time being. I am single and a first time home buyer. Any recommendations?

Hello

Just remember which ever property you buy will be a rental later so make sure you get something that's good for renting. San Diego has a long history of low vacancy for rentals.

Thank You

Tommy

We also have a great club in Oceanside; North San Diego Real Estate Investors Association, www.nsdrei.org that meets on the third Tuesday of the month at the El Camino Country Club. Would be happy to have you as my guest some time. Let me know.
