When advertising for renters what do you call a single unit of a triplex or duplex? What is best terminally to use in the ad?
I just put "ground floor 2 bedroom in up/down triplex" or "side-by-side duplex" whatever it is. Give them an idea of what it is as clearly as possible to save yourself some time @Jerry McGinnis I have found whether it is up/down or side by side to be important. Harder to live under or over someone.
When posting an add for a unit? Advertise it as an apartment. That's what it is. I market my units for my duplexes as 1-2 bedrooms apartments and post a picture of the property so they can see. When talking to them, pitch it as they will have more privacy than a traditional big apartment building and I always hear that renting a 2-4 family they feel like they are renting a condo instead of an apartment. Just my thoughts! Good luck!
