using pseudonym when placing adds

My wife and I plan on using a pseudonym when placing adds for rental properties. After doing some reading about DBA related fines in TX, I wonder if local laws apply to my situation in Tennessee.

We have a pseudonym based on our initials and business type.  Our add and application process would point to an email and phone number that use the pseudonym.  We like the small layer of extra privacy while advertising and we like not having to track all the spam we get on these accounts after removing the add from the internet.  We provide a different phone number and email address for tenants.

I am not aware of strict DBA (or similar) laws that would apply in our situation since the rental properties are in TN and are not part of a licensed business.

If you are aware of laws/codes we should know about, please let us know.  Thanks for your time. The thought of a fine and hearing the phrase "ignorance is no defense" is not appealing.
