Checking for liens in Georgia

I'm trying to work some pre foreclosures in my area and was wanting to check see if there were any liens on some of the properties I'm looking at. In Georgia there is a subscription service that ties all the Deeds together. I'm having difficulty working through it and was wondering if anybody in Georgia know how to work it. Thanks in advance

Are you talking about GSCCA? This is a good place for titles (warranty deeds and the like) and it should have all liens but I have found that not all Security Deeds show up there.

For example, I do have a mortgage and a security deed on my house but it can't be found on GSCCA.

Have you tried the county's doc search website? I know that in Cherokee county, I can go to and use their oncore deed search engine --> search by legal description --> enter the legal description of the property and the document types I'm looking for and a date range.

Not sure what county in particular you are looking for.
