Probate purchase- someone died inside the house recently
Hey BP,
I have a property that I was interested in and so I asked my agent to send me info from MLS. According to MLS it's a probate sale and the owner died in the property in February of this year of natural causes. I was intending to buy to hold and possibly rent out or even flip. However, California state law requires to disclose death within 3 years so I would think it might be unattractive to prospective people to rent or buy. Any thoughts or experience on this situation?
