Keep it to marketing advice no?
Gets a bit annoying having to filter and filter and filter to find the things that can teach me something about MARKETING!

You are manually filtering the forums? Just add a new keyword called "marketing".

Hi Jerryl,
I believe the reason lies within the name of the forum.
I think folks are reading the name like this: Real Estate Investor Marketing Help & Advice.
Although marketing is a big piece of the puzzle, for the new person it's probably the least of their concerns.
Maybe BP should break it up into two groups.
- Marketing Only
- Real Estate Help and Advice.

Same thing happens in the commercial apartment forum. 95+% of the posts are 2-4 family residential because the forum is titled commercial "multifamily and apartment investing". Sifting through hundreds of residential posts to get to the commercial ones is a bad member experience.

Jerryll,
Why don't you just google it. Marketing is a universal language and can be adjusted for any field including real estate.

Um... What?
Marketing is! No one mentioned anything about rei vs non rei.
But people asking how to get rid of their rash on their back has nothing to do with this section of the forum. No?
