College Rental

Hello everyone! I am a new rental investor. I got into this business for the simple fact that I wanted to live for free and not pay bills while in college. I brought up the idea of property investing to my supportive parents and they were all for it after reviewing the numbers. I am now in my second month going to my third and it's been so far okay. I am in the process of renovating one of the 5 units. I will be living in this one until a new tenant inquires and decides to take it from me. My biggest worry is university funding. Our university president came out and said that if the state does not release the funds for education than the university will have to shutdown until further notice. Not only does this affect my own education, but also my parents investment. I will be returning in a week to finish the renovations, so I will definitely upload before and after photos.
