VA LOAN + 20% DOWN PAYMENT on 4PLEX?
Hello! So I've been sifting through the forum but can not find an answer to this question.
SITUATION: Looking to buy a multi family and owner occupy. However, my terms on VA loan require me to put a down payment on anything larger than a single family. 10% on 2 unit and 20% on 3-4 unit. I have saved 70K for possible renovations / unforeseen costs but was under the impression that other VA loan users had gone about this with 0 down on all properties single or multi. Anyone on here have experience on this topic / advice on how to proceed?
