Retail buy & hold investment in Bronx.

Purchase price: $110,000

Gorgeous and spacious one bedroom apt with high ceilings, hardwood floor a separate updated kitchen and great customized closet space. In a well maintained co-op with an onsite superintendent (the best), laundry room, storage unit, short distance to the public transportation 6 trains and buses (:30 minute Express train to midtown Manhattan), a block away from all shopping Macy's, Starbucks, Blink Fitness, restaurants and nearby parks.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

Initial primary residence with amenities that would make a good future rental property.

How did you finance this deal?

Traditional bank financing.

How did you add value to the deal?

I added value with a small amount of sweat equity by replacing the fixtures and cabinetry in the bathroom . As well as the fixtures in the kitchen. Added custom closets and repainted the entire apartment.
