I’m a newbie flipper

Posted

I’m new in this industry. Where do I look or contact for hard money? I can do the construction myself. I don’t know how to start.

 Be careful,

Here is where MANNNNY "Flippers" go wrong.

All these people that are "flippers" and they do the work themselves... I honestly and personally do not consider you a flipper.

You are just a person that is renovating a house. Yes yes this is my own personal definition here, just go with it.

If you are on BiggerPockets, and you have a business as an investor, and you want to become wealthy doing this...

And I bet we all are...

You don't do the work yourself. This has nothing to do with being handy or experienced. This has to do with turn around, and systems. You need to work on your business, not in your business.

You need to flip that mofo, be done with it in 5 weeks, and before you are done with it you are already at the closing table signing your next one.

It is truly important you learn this through systems.

When you flip this yourself, believe me it will take 5 months! (if not more), and there is a high chance you will drive yourself to fail.

I know this coming from a stranger is going to make you throw this warning in the wind and some misteks often people learn the hard way.

I am not saying you ARE making a mistake.. I am saying you MOST LIKELY WILL make a mistake flipping this yourself.

Besides.. you are asking for hard money, and you talk about doing it yourself.. AND you are a newbie flipper?

I almost want to retract my last sentence.. and say " You will fail!".. but I won't be that guy!

But I implore you don't go this route. You will likely regret it! (of course depending how much work the house demands... of course).

If it is an easy flip... I still wouldn't advise it.. but ... hmmeeh

Good luck!
