HST on Mobile Home Park in Ontario

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to find out if a Mobile home park purchase in Ontario would be subject to HST? The owner does not collect HST on rent so I’m trying to understand if I will have to pay HST when I purchase the property ?

@Arjun Chelliah Assuming that 1) it's a MHP (residential) and not a RV park (STR), and 2) it's not a new build, HST should not be applicable. I am not an accountant, though, and would recommend that you pass your deal through one for evaluation. Some links to consider:
