I need to buy this house

Hey I’m desperate to buy the house I am currently living in. A guy rented it to me and gave me a purchase agreement I have not signed because I can’t get approval for a loan. It’s worth way more than he is selling it to me for . What options do I have as first time home buyer or a private mortgage?!

Have you actually gone in and sat down with a lender?  There are a multitude of lending programs designed to help people at all stages of life.  I would seek out a loan officer at a local bank and another at a credit union.

Good luck!

I agree with the others. See if he will do owner financing and talk to a local bank including credit unions.

Talk to 20 lenders today and find a way! Happy to provide a great lender recommendation if you need.

If you're really not financeable, find someone in your world that you can create a win-win scenario with to allow you to get the home. Lots of ways to make it a win-win, but make sure it's someone you trust and you set up a proper agreement.

1. Wholesale it.
2. Bring it to an investor and partner with them. 3. Do a seller financing deal with no money down

Why is it that you don't feel like you can qualify for a loan?
