Who would you like to see speak as a keynote at BPCon?
BPCon 2023 is FAST APPROACHING!!! We are opening up registration in March and we are going to sell out so be sure to watch your emails for registration information in March!
As we're planning to unveil our keynote speakers for BPCon 2023, I wanted to see who y'all would want to see speak as a keynote in a future BPCon. Let me know your thoughts, other suggestions, and comments in the replies!
Ed Mylett! - This guy is the man!
Dr. Jim Dahle from The White Coat Investor - Great Content provider!
Another vote for Ed Mylett!!! And/or Jocko Willink!

I feel as though getting a guest on this list is all flash and no substance in regard to RE investing. So get someone who runs a development firm focused on RE, or a RE Hedge fund, or a owner of a private equity group or large private lender that does 1000's of deals per year. Bloomberg has had many great guests on their podcasts over the years that would be a great addition to a panel for a BPCON. Many wouldn't know who they are (I didn't), but everyone that came would get real value out of hearing them speak.
Just my 2 cents.
I change my vote to what Brain said.

I suggest you consider Dr. Ted C. Jones, Chief Economist at Stewart Title. I saw him speak at the AAPL conference last October.
Ted has been around for a long time and has seen many ups and downs. He’s engaging, entertaining, as knowledgeable as they come, and obviously pro-real estate. Some of his charts were hysterical and some depressing, but I learned a lot.
Ted’s presentation, which he revises regularly, was called Econ 101: It’s All About Supply & Demand. Even if you don’t consider Ted, you might still check out his AAPL video presentation on YouTube, here.
Preston Brown- he's got 16 interrelated real estate companies that all benefit each other. He's a professional speaker as well and runs a 6 figure professional associations. https://theprestonbrown.com/
Seriously this guy would add massive value!
Gary Keller or Ken McElroy would be great choices!
Quote from @Scott E.:
Based on this list, Barbara is a no brainer to me for a BP event.
-Alex Hormozi: Rock start marketer but he has zero do to with real estate. Not a good fit.
-Elon Musk: Genius and visionary and but dull personality and has zero to do with real estate. Not a good fit.
-Barbara Corcoran: Real estate mogul who got started in real estate and now runs a $5 billion dollar real estate business. Plus she has a nice personality and great stage presence.
-Tarek and Heather El Moussa: TV house flipper and TV real estate agent (and to be fair I'm a fan of 'Flip or Flop' and 'Selling Sunset'). Probably cool people but I don't think they will add as much value as the other candidates on this list.
-Gary Vee: He has nothing to do with real estate. All he will do is drop F bombs and scream at the audience to post more content on their social media. Not a good fit.
-Mark Cuban: Probably the most well rounded entrepreneur on the list. Also very well spoke with great stage presence. But again he has nothing to do with real estate.
I don't know, Elon Musk is going longggggggg distance and investing on MARS he might be a good speaker maybe a book on investing in other planets real estate
Forget a keynote speaker. I want to see a live in-person debate between Clayton Morris and James Wise. BP con would be sold out in 1 day.
All of these folks sound great but I'd really just love to hear Pace Morby talk for another 10 hours.
Edit: Jocko would be fantastic too.
Robert Kiyosaki
George Gammon
Someone willing to share failures - explaining how they got into the situation and how they got out. So often, these conferences are filled with "boasters" providing no real experience and/or help for those trying to make this work. Basically the reason why I won't attend conferences currently. Failures is where success grows from..
Alex Hormozi - Nothing to do with real estate.
Elon Musk - Nothing to do with real estate.
Barbara Corcoran - Some value, huge ego though.
Tarek and Heather El Moussa - No longer married to each other. Should prob. get their name's correct. Just celebrity flippers, nothing more.
Gary Vaynerchuk - Nothing to do with real estate.
Mark Cuban - Nothing to do with real estate.
Why not people who are ACTUALLY IN THE REAL ESTATE BUSINESS (aside from BC)? Besides, none of these people would come.

Owner of a large private lender that does 1000's of deals per year 👀
Agreed!
I would vote for Alex AND Leila Hormozi. I think their experience while not directly in real estate translates fairly smoothly to the operation and management of a real estate investment portfolio or company. They have experience handling high stress and work loads, lots of moving parts, and lots of PEOPLE. Just because some of these speakers are not in the real estate world does not mean that we cannot learn from their life experiences and backgrounds. Honestly, the amount of knowledge that all of these possible speakers bring to the table is astounding, I think any of them would be great. The biggest detractor in my opinion is the rinse and repeat keynote speeches that some of the bigger names bring to every convention, which may not necessarily provide as much bang for the buck as some of the smaller (relatively speaking) names.

Me! Running a uniquely structured turnkey company in one of the most competitive markets in the country. Our team loves helping new investors get the ball rolling on their portfolios.
But Elon Musk seems to be doing some interesting stuff too.
Corby would be and EXCELLENT speaker!
GRANT CARDONE would be awesome.
OTHER: Grant Cardone
Biggest name in real estate right now is Pace Morby. Not only is he doing alot of deals, has great knowledge and is able to teach it from a stage. Great public speaker. I saw him speak at a conference with other big names on stage, Ed Mylett and Robert Kiyosaki, he was the most dynamic.
