I received a recorded lien from the recorders office on 3/18/17. The HOA board approved the Lien on 12/7/16. I was never served with a notice of intent. The Property Management's website said they served me with a notice of intent in Aug. 2015. The lien amount has been paid but is it legal to wait almost 2 years to record a lien? I had made payments every month but was a little behind. Shouldn't a revised notice of intent letter been sent after the board approval on 12/7/16 that reflected the last 2 years of payments? Thanks for any input.
