60 day move in requirements

Some situations have happened that may not allow us to move into our duplex we are closing on. FHA requires us to move in within 60 day, I’m having trouble finding information about this and is there a way to push it back due to some health circumstance. Or what are the consequences?

What would you all do in this situation?

i believe the FHA rules are that you have to intend to move in within 60 days. if your issue is only delaying you a few weeks and you can prove it was sudden and unexpected, I doubt it would be a problem. if you cant move in for two years then I imagine that's an issue. if you provide more information we may be able to help more.

Talk to your loan officer immediately.

Some clothes ,a bed , some food in the fridge , a chair and a tv . And you are moved in
