We have a delicate situation here! A very corrupt man is in charge of a property management firm in the bahamas. He sets strange, seemingly preferential fees on properties, higher for some, lower for others. The homeowner's situation is headed by him, and due to his fantastic lawyer, the man is seemingly untouchable. He gives lower rates to just enough of the homeowners to ensure he cannot be voted or pushed out. My cousin is staying in this community, and it has turned from a very nice residential development into a small kingdom ruled by a power mad dictator. What steps would you take to have this man removed from his station as a member of the HOA?
Get a copy of the ByLaws or CCRs of the HOA Community. It will tell you how to an remove officer from the HOA Board. There may also be a state or govt agency you can reach out to.
