Does anyone have a good attorney or law firm they can recommend to represent a small HOA? We have several issues with the commercial unit that is not part of the residential HOA.
Prefer someone in Chicago.
Any help is appreciated!
I’ve represented a few small HOAs in the past. Fee free to pm me so I can understand your issue and help you or provide you with a referral.
Keay & Costello in Wheaton
Keough & Moody in Naperville
Kovits, Shifrin & Nesbit in Mundelien.
All reputable firms
@Jake Fugman I don't have any referrals in the space you're looking for but you can just punch in "YOUR CITY or AREA" plus "ATTORNEY" into the search window above and check out a few people's past endorsements to get a broader scope of professionals and to zero in on someone that fits your ticket.
I would Google really thorny condo questions and see what law firms were involved in cases that went to IL supremes, that would be a fairly good indication the attorney's had some experience. Recall years ago the client who hired a DUI lawyer to handle their real estate transaction, guy had less than a clue on very simple transaction.
