I was talking to a seller who was interested in selling a house that went into foreclosure when she claimed bankruptcy. When I pulled the list 2 months ago she was still on the title. Since then, the HOA snuck in under nonpayment of her HOA fees and bought her $90k property for $3k total! It was already recorded when I pulled a prelim report. Is there anything I can do to still help her out?
The hoa pursued a foreclosure auction for past due fees. The $3k bid just gives them the title......the mortgage still stays with the property and likely is more than the property is worth......hence the reason no one else bid at the sale.
No, there is nothing you can do for her.
Well that kinda sucks but very usefully information to know! Thank you
