Isn't that a business record? How do I know they enforce the rules? Am I entitles to see the units on the waiting list or just how many units are ahead of me? Looks like a lack of transparency
@James Thomas gotta read your governing documents. What do they say? However, I don't see how telling you how long the list is would cause any harm. And details on the average wait time. Are you dealing with a property manager or directly with the board? You might consider actually attending a board meeting and asking them to set some policy regarding this. You may not be the only frustrated owner.
They tell me how long it is but refuse to release the unit numbers on the list and any records showing how fast is moving. How can I check if they enforce it if I have no clue who is on the list ? They said it contains private information.
