I live in philly and there's a start up called Houwzer that i'm thinking of using as my real estate agent. Anyone ever worked with them in the past?
I think their model is really interesting and - they charge the standard 3% commission on the buy side, but on the sell side it's a flat fee of $345 (http://houwzer.com/sellers/). I'd love to support a local startup, but want to hear feedback if anyone has any experience with them.
$345 is ridiculous. A sellers agent works hard for their money. They are not working very hard for $345. A realtor will ensure your property has professional photos, marketed to the MLS and other sites and negotiate the best deal for you.
Thanks Carrie, but I'm looking for feedback specifically from people who've worked with them in the past.
