I am a first time investor looking to purchase a property near the Smoky Mountains. I know that most tourists who vacation in this area are looking for a cabin. Is anyone seeing good numbers with single family homes that are not cabins?
@Chris Ortler I don't know what returns for SFH would be in this area, but I can tell you that I decided to purchase a cabin in Sevierville because when people are coming to the area they want a cabin. It might be cheaper to get a SFH but your demand will also be lower. Personally I didn't want that risk.
