Financing with Friends
My husband and I have some success in becoming buy and hold investors. We have 20 units and are cashflowing rather well. We have done this by ourselves for the past 3 years. But as we tell friends about our journey, they are interested in what we do and some have offered to give us money and "Go invest it for me". I feel really strange about this. It's one thing to invest with our money but and am uneasy about using a friend's money. Especially when they know nothing about this.
Should I pursue these requests? Any suggestions on how to handle these conversations so that they know this is long term? Any specific topics to cover in setting up a partnership?
