Bathroom for each tenant when doing rent by the room?

Hello! My husband and I are getting started with doing mid-term rentals. We are looking into renting by the room. Do you find that typically each tenant wants their own bathroom vs sharing one with someone else or it's a case by case basis and depends? Thanks in advance!

@Clareen Eberly

Everyone wants their own bathroom. The only reason a tenant would choose not to have their own bathroom is to rent for a lower price.

On Furnished Finder I saw that prices are higher for a bedroom with an attached bathroom, so you can list them specifically like that and charge more for the attached bath. As Mason said, some people will be happy to have the cheaper room with a shared bath.

I've recently been looking into Co-Living which is essentially renting by the room (in a more organized and structured way). In a recent webinar, I learned that to be successful at it you should have no more than 3 renters to 1 bathroom. That being said, I agree with others here that if there is a dedicated bathroom for a given room (that is not shared) then you should definitely charge more for that.
