Listing under contract property on mls

For you licensed real estate folks: have you listed your deals on the mls? If so, how did you communicate this with your seller if at all? Thanks much!

I dont think you can list a home for sale on the MLS that you have under contract or are not the actual owner.

Most state licensing laws and MLS regulations prohibit listing a property on the MLS unless you are the owner. There are some that might allow contract owners to list a property but disclosure would probably be necessary. Best to check with a local broker in your area.

What the others said is correct. Unless you are the owner or have a listing contract with the owner to list it on MLS you can't do it.

You can purchase and then list if that is financially feasible.
